Jaimie Summers Sings

Well, not really. Instead we offer you this Power Records version of The Bionic Woman. Though not as successful as the Six Million Dollar Man Power Records, this album still stands up in terms of entertainment. As with the other Power Records, the original cast from the television show is not here. Instead a highly trained group of voice actors (many of whom appear on most other Power Records) take the task of telling the heroic stories of the Bionic Woman. Here it is for your listening enjoyment! Enjoy! Power Records - The Bionic Woman

Thanks for posting this rare item, though this is actually not a Power Records production. Wonderland Records, known for producing records for the Kindergarten crowd, somehow got the rights to do Bionic Woman. As far as I know it was the only time they produced something like this for older listeners, so that makes it doubly rare.

More info on Wonderland Records: in 1977 they also issued LPs based on two other properties of Universal Studios - Baretta and Emergency. All three LPs used the same anonymous cast (probably just four actors doubling up in multiple roles). Power Records had a similar deal with Universal that got them The Six Million Dollar Man, Kojak, and the long-forgotten Gemini Man.

I have the Emergency record. I don't think I've ever listened to it. One day . . .
