Here is the silent home movie version that I cried for when we went to a department store right after seeing the movie for the first time when I was a kid. I wanted it so badly but alas, didn't get it until I was well into my 30s. Enjoy!
Thanks for posting this! I remember seeing this at a friends house around 1979. In the days before VCRs it was great to see even a portion of Star Wars at home anytime you wanted.

I was a spoiled child; I got Star Wars and the entire series of Planet of the Apes in glorius, silent B&W.
